The request by a girl aged 14 years 7 months to spend time with both parents differed markedly from the proposals made by both parents. The girl recognised that her mother might be reluctant to agree with the amount of time she wished to spend with the father. The judge found that the girl was of sufficient age and maturity to give considerable weight to the child’s wishes.
