Narkis & Narkis (No. 2) 2014 FamCA 420
The case involved a child who the judge described as having become very much embroiled in proceedings. The judge commented that a professional will no doubt be required to pursue the question of just what the child knows for the purposes of seeing whether she has been embroiled and/or manipulated, and what a child needs to know.
The judge forewarned that it is irresponsible parenting for a party to manipulate a child by discussing proceedings including by discussing proceedings within the hearing of a child (adult topics).
