Bell & Bell 2013 FMCAfam 6
Parents disputed which religion their children should be raised in. After separation the mother had joined a Jehovah Witness church group and she held meetings in her house twice a week. A son later told the father that the father was a sinner. The father wanted the children to continue to be raised in either the Church of England or Catholic Church (religious belief).
The judge ordered that neither party be permitted to change the children’s religious education from the teachings of the Church of England without first consulting with and obtaining the agreement of the other party.
