A father who had difficulty with reading and writing was self-represented at trial. The Court granted the father a McKenzie Friend to assist in conducting proceedings.
The judge found that the father had perpetrated family violence. The judge ordered that the child aged 6 years spend supervised time with the father on four occasions per year for identity purposes (access times).
