Wylie & Wylie 2013 FamCA 426
A judge issued the following orders regarding two children aged 6 years:
- to live with their father and for the father to have sole parental responsibility
- for the mother to see the children at a contact centre
- for the father to arrange counselling for the children (therapy for child)
- for the mother to seek a referral for psychiatric/psychological therapy (therapy for parent)
- in the event that the therapist supports the mother’s request for unsupervised access with the children, and the father agrees, that the mother be able to apply for further parenting orders without the need to argue the threshold set in the Rice and Asplund authority (treatment report, changed circumstances)
