Children aged 9 and 7 years expressed a preference for a week about shared care arrangement between their parents. The judge found that the children had been exposed to the litigation and to the competing proposals, and that the children’s preferences were a result of this exposure rather than a free choice. Little weight was given to the children’s preferences (child’s wishes).
