Creighton & Filippo 2014 FamCA 136

An expert who provided reportable therapy had provided a treatment report to Court although the report had not been requested by court.  The mother asked that a family consultant also be appointed as the treatment report did not address all of the topics that would usually be addressed in a family report.

The judge dismissed the application as a further report would require further interviewing of the children (repeated assessments), and as an ICL could be appointed.
